Description

The Buckeye Model FAM – PO Ratio Flow Controller is aproportioning device designed to meter the correct amount of foam concentrate into the water stream over a wide range of flows and pressures. These units are used inconjunction with either a bladder tank or a foam pump proportioning system.

The operating principle of the controller is based upon the use of a modified venture. As the water passes through the inlet jet, a reduction in pressure in the annular area is created. This reduction allows the metering of the foam concentrate into the water stream through the foam concentrate metering orifice.
